Hikes.

This week, I had every intention to hike in the mountains; however, with my pivoting work schedule, I decided to fly over the Cascades and hike to a beach instead! Did you know that there are hiking trails in Mukilteo that lead you to the Puget Sound? This local, moderate, hike is a great place to get outside and explore while staying within the city limits! The birds were singing, buds are blooming, and you can feel that spring is near! The weather this time of year is wonderful in the Northwest. This is my home... and I love it here.

Homes.

This week started off with 13 home tours with one of my buyers!! We saw several styles of homes and townhomes and my client found one she loved! We put in an offer and OUR OFFER WAS ACCEPTED!! It was contingent on a passing inspection so we had an inspector out right away to check out the property! My client disapproved of the results so we terminated the contract and are going to continue with our search in North Seattle!

Next, I met with a new buyer over lunch and discussed her wishlist. It was great getting to know her, and more about her goals, and I can't wait to help her find her dream home!!

Then, I had a call with another new buyer who is looking for a place in Redmond! I set up a curated collection for him as well and found a few great options he may be interested in! The market is definitely picking up and I am excited to help him find his next home!

In addition to working with these buyers, this week, I was also working on getting my new listing ready to go to market! My clients are looking to transition out of their current residence and into a new home so I set up a curated collection for them and they saw a home they liked! We went to go see it and they loved it! We put in an offer that was contingent on the sale of their current home and unfortunately the seller did not accept it. We are going to keep looking while we sell their home in Snohomish and are confident that we will find another home they love soon!

This week, I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, The Cottage - which is located in Bothell! I have dined here many times and usually get the hummus, but this time I ordered the Vegan Avocado Toast which is made of seasoned avocado spread and toasted mustard seed, served on delicious Macrina bread.

At The Cottage, their goal is simple: to source the freshest ingredients from local purveyors and create straightforward, excellent dishes. In addition to their superb service, their menu is the foundation on which they build an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a cozy place to have lunch or dinner, this is it!
