Hikes.

Did you know that you can go for a hike in Snohomish? The Centennial Trail is a local trail, that was established in 1989, on the 100-year anniversary of Washington's Centennial. The 1989 Washington centennial commission was the agency in charge of the development of programs for the commemoration and celebration of important and memorable events. The commission's major purpose and goal was to create solutions that would encourage active participation in communities and citizens, and be representative of the contributions of all peoples and cultures to Washington's history as a state. This week, I was working in Snohomish a lot, and the forecast called for snow in the mountains, so I decided this would be the ideal time to check out an urban hike! The trail follows the original route of the Seattle railway and offers outstanding river views, even on a cloudy day! If you are looking for a fun adventure, without a long drive, this is it!
