2021 SECTION CONFERENCE CANCELLED - Quarterly Virtual Training Sessions Planned

The Section Board of Trustees have made the difficult decision to cancel next years Section Conference in Boise. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues and as the Board heard from more and more of our members who already knew they would not be approved to travel next year, the need to cancel was obvious.

The 2021 Section Conference is now moving to a QUARTERLY virtual format. The PNWS will be providing our members with valuable training and CEU's throughout 2021. You can expect:
  • Quarterly training - Mark Your Calendars Now for:
    • February 25
    • May 20
    • August 12
    • October 28
  • A few abstracts are still needed for these dates. The abstract window will open for only TWO weeks September 15 - October 1.
  • There will be sponsorship opportunities for vendors and consultants. Look form more information in next months e-newsletter.
Look for more information as it becomes available on our Section website over the next few weeks.

Join PNWS Board Chair Ronda Farmer as we hold our Section's first virtual town hall meeting Thursday, August 27 at 10am.

FALL COMMITTEE AND SUBSECTION OFFICER TRAINING GOES VIRTUAL

Our annual committee and subsection officer training is morphing this year to a virtual platform due to COVID-19.

We are working on the agenda now and should have dates and agendas coming out soon!
PNWS VIRTUAL TRAINING GUIDE AVAILABLE FOR COMMITTEES AND SUBSECTIONS - Includes Updated Pricing Policy

The newly created PNWS Virtual Training Guide is now available to assist committees and subsections as we move our training from face-to-face to a virtual format due to COVID-19.

Within the guide you will find information on platform and technical requirements, steps to award CEUs in all three states, a moderator best practices guide as well as the new PNWS Board approved pricing policy that replaces the member/non-member pricing policy developed in 2015.

You can find this guide on our Governing Documents page on our website.
