KENNEWICK CONFERENCE WRAP UP

Just under 1000 people attended our Section Conference last month in Kennewick, Washington. If you missed it, you missed a great time had
by all.  The Central Washington Subsection welcomed attendees from our three states  to a conference that was filled with world class technical content and superb networking opportunities.

The conference kicked off with a day of either golf or pre-conference technical sessions and culminated with the
p assing of the gavel from outgoing Section Chair Lacey Goeres-Priest to current  Section Chair Dan Kegley.  Look for a complete conference recap in the July edition of Water Matters .  Highlights included Lee Odell  winning the Powell Lindsay Award; and Melinda Freidman taking home the association's highest award - The George Warren Fuller.

Post Conference Survey:  All conference attendees were sent a link to a survey.    Please take a moment to complete this quick survey. Your responses will help us as we plan for next years
conference in Kennewick, Washington.

Conference Photos:  All conference photos will be uploaded to our Section Flickr page within a few weeks.  Look for the Flickr icon on the upper right hand corner of our homepage. Feel free to  download photos and/or share with others.

CEU Letters:  CEU letters will be emailed to conference attendees who requested them in the online registration by the first part of July. The email will come
from Action Registration and will be sent to the person who completed your registration if you did not register yourself. If you do not receive your letter please check your spam filter prior to emailing the  Section office.

Technical Presentations:  Conference technical presentations will be uploaded to the  Section website by June 10.

ACE17 GAVEL PASSING - Meet and Greet Replaced with Wrap Party

Our Section's very own Brenda Lennox will begin her term as AWWA President this June at the conclusion of ACE17 in Philadelphia.

Lennox will accept the gavel at the ACE17 Wrap Party on Wednesday night, June 14 as the association celebrates the conclusion of our annual exhibition.  We want to see a huge turn out from PNWS at this party to support Brenda. Because of this we will not be holding our usual pre-ACE Meet and Greet on Sunday that we have traditionally  held. Instead we want to encourage everyone to stick around for the Wednesday evening Wrap Party at the Fieldhouse!

ACE17 COMPETITION UPDATES VIA FACEBOOK

Unfortunately we realize not everyone can attend ACE17 in Philadelphia this year. However, just because you aren't attending doesn't mean you can't stay up to date on all the competitions that your fellow Section champions are competing in. We will be posting all the results on our PNWS
Facebook page - join the group and keep up to date on how these folks do at ACE.
