FREE VIRTUAL EARTHQUAKE RESILIENCE SYMPOSIUM - Rotating

The Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup and the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network have developed the Water Utility Earthquake Resilience Symposium that will convene on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 -3:30 pm from July 14th through July 30, 2020. This 6-session symposium will consist of ~60 minutes of presentations followed by 30 minutes Q&A and discussion on the topic of the day. Each session will include expert presentations related to water utilities and earthquake impacts. A panel of experts will be available after the presentations to field questions and participate in the conversation.

July 16 -  Earthquake Effects on Water and Sewer Systems Planning for Liquefaction

July 21 -  Emergency Response and Mutual Aid

July 23 -  Science tools for planning and response
