THANKSGIVING GREETINGS FROM
POAH & POAH COMMUNITIES
With Thanksgiving coming up it can be hard not to focus your attention on the feast that lies ahead, but it’s important to remember the reason for the season - gratitude, appreciation and thankfulness. As we get closer to the end of the year, we gratefully pause to wish you a warm and Happy Thanksgiving. May the good things of life be yours in abundance, not only on Thanksgiving but throughout the coming year.

POAH NAMES RESIDENT ADVISORY BOARD

POAH is excited to announce the creation of our first Resident Advisory Board made up of residents who live in POAH properties across the country. The purpose of the Advisory Board is to provide residents an opportunity to voice their perspective, offer feedback and help POAH improve the work that it does for its residents. Resident Advisory Board members come from all walks of life – some live in senior communities, some in family communities, some in cities or rural areas. Members are volunteers who meet 3-4 times per year. We thank the new members for your commitment and dedication to your communities!  (photo: Resident Advisory Board member Cheryl Morrison Brewton from Heritage Village, Rhode Island)
POAH COMMUNITIES ALL-STAFF CONFERENCE FOCUSES ON RESIDENT-INSPIRED SERVICES
POAH Communities held its first-ever virtual conference, FOCUS 21 - Resident Inspired Service in September.

A keynote presentation from the Disney Institute called "Approach to Quality Service" gave staff tools to provide a consistent service experience at all of our properties. Role-specific breakout sessions and an employee fair covered topics such as safety, fair housing, trauma resiliency, and collaboration. At POAH Communities, our goal is to place you, our resident, at the center of all we do and to develop a culture that consistently delivers exceptional service.

Have you received exceptional service from one of our team members? Give them a shout-out! Email us at customerservice@poahcommunities.com.
COMMUNITY IMPACT COORDINATORS HELP RESIDENTS ACCESS BOOSTER VACINES

Community Impact Coordinators are helping residents find appointments for COVID-19 booster shots including finding nearby pharmacies and helping to book appointments. While the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine decreases over time, new evidence shows the vaccine effectiveness can return to above 90% after you’ve had a booster. Reach out to your Community Impact Coordinator to learn more or visit https://www.vaccines.gov/
