Hello Changemakers - from all of us here at United Way Youth Venture (UWYV), Changemaking and Portrait of a Graduate (POG)

We celebrated Portrait of a Graduate accomplishments at a day-long productive and revitalizing event at Wachusett Mountain

Through a grant from the United Way of NCM we were able to host a "Kids Helping Kids" camp at Fitchburg High School throughout the month of July.

There is a new video, below, for you to enjoy - - students inspiring kindness and helping wild animals stay unharmed.

Wishing you a great rest of your summer!

As always, we are grateful for your continued support.

POG Year-end Event at Wachusett Mountain

We celebrated the incredible work that teachers, students and staff have accomplished over the last year, working toward a more meaningful

educational experience for all.

We all had the opportunity to reflect on accomplishments, we discussed challenges and did some collaborative planning on ways to further build the outcomes of the Portrait into every day experience.

A productive day in a celebratory and fun atmosphere, which included reflective time on the mountain Sky Ride, and a wonderful clambake lunch.

Kids Helping Kids Camp at Fitchburg High School

Through a grant from the United Way of NCM we were able to host a "Kids Helping Kids" camp at Fitchburg High School throughout the month of July. This camp was driven by the values of traditional United Way Youth Venture programming. Kids are teaching other kids to learn to collaborate and build a team, make connections, through engaging and fun activities.
