Program Operations Manual  Review

Good Afternoon Family Reunification Providers:

During the network call on Wednesday, we mentioned a request for all of our budgeted sites to review the current version of the Program Operations Manual (POM). The Family Reunification (FR) team is currently revamping our internal policies and procedures, as well as the guidance we share with our network. The FR teams has already made several updates to an internal draft of the POM, but please note that is not the version you will review. As the POM is the most comprehensive guidance that we provide, we want to ensure that it is reader friendly, up-to-date with ORR/DUCO's most recent updates, and ultimately serves as a instruction manual for the Safe Passages program.

With that being said, we are requesting that program staff at each budgeted site review the POM and collectively as a program, meet to discuss and complete this survey. There should only be one survey submitted per program. For your convenience, you do not have to complete the survey in one sitting. The survey may be completed in phases, as long as the survey answers are entered by the same staff member using the same device each time.

Links to both the survey and the POM are below:

In your responses, please indicate anything that is missing, unclear, needs to be updated, etc. The POM review and survey is due by Friday, October 2nd, 2020. If you have any questions about this request, please contact myself or Jaime Duckett.

Thank you,
