Welcome HOME!
School Updates
Welcome back! We hope you had a very nice conference and Fall Break, and please keep Fr. Jeff in your prayers. Fr. Jeff reported yesterday that he is still experiencing some symptoms, but is feeling better the past two days. As we get reacclimated to our routines this week, we are also planning ahead for the holidays and an important 8-week stretch of teaching and learning.

St. Patrick will be continuing this model of Phase 3 instruction until Christmas Break. This includes in-person instruction at 100% capacity from Monday to Thursday, and asynchronous, remote learning on Fridays for grades K-8. December 18th will be remote for all grades. This decision was made after another round of meetings and consultation with our faculty and staff, the Archdiocese of Louisville, and the local health department. While cases have increased, we have still been encouraged to maintain our current plan for the next two months. Should the caseload change or new developments arise, we will adjust accordingly. Huge thanks to our teachers for their inspiring work, as well as all of the parent and grandparent volunteers who are helping to make this happen. Please see the calendar below for your reference.

2020 Election Day

St. Patrick Catholic School will dismiss all ages and grades at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd. This was accidentally left off our Phase 3 calendar shared in September, but was noted in the 2020-21 school calendar approved in February 2020.

Pope Francis said, "We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true: good Catholics immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern."

St. Patrick encourages your faithful citizenship by participating in our democratic process! Whether it is absentee, early voting, or on Election Day, Vote 2020!

Cafeteria News

Don’t forget the cafeteria has an app to help you keep up with the menu found in your app store. With the constant schedule changes and uncertainties right now, we will periodically need to make changes to the menu. Use this app to keep up to date. Taher Food4Life App

Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time,
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace,
taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it,
trusting that you will make all things right,
if I surrender to your will,
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
and supremely happy with you forever in the next.
