In this month’s episode, President Brian Marvel and our new Vice President Ben Therriault sit down with Legislative Advocate Randy Perry and Sacramento County Sheriff Jim Cooper to discuss the ongoing efforts to reform Prop 47 and address the alarming rise in organized retail theft in California. The discussion covers all the politicking around the multiple different legislative vehicles and the ballot measure aimed at reforming Prop 47, including the controversy surrounding proposed "poison pill" amendments. |

Message From the RMT Chair
| |
Chair Terry A. Moore would like you to provide the RMT with updated contact information. The Trust needs to be able to mail you information now and then. If the Trust mails something and the USPS returns it, you fall off the books and into the category of a missing participant. The Trust then has to pay a service provider to try and locate you. That costs money, which, in turn, reduces the funds available to pay out in the form of benefits.
| |
If you haven’t registered, it’s easy to do. First, click on the PORAC RMT website button below. Then click on the Member Login button, which will take you to the registration page. It’s a fairly fast and simple process. Once registered, you can log in and update your profile with the Trust.
| |
If you have any difficulty, email Terry A. Moore at CPOAPrez@sbcglobal.net or call (530) 588-5117. Help the Trust help you. Remain healthy, and be safe out there.
