Max Food Pantry named Agency of the Year

For their incredible efforts to serve those struggling with food insecurity in their community, the Great Plains Food Bank named Our Savior Lord's Food Pantry in Max, N.D., as its 2018 Agency of the Year. The award is the highest honor given each year to the Great Plains Food Bank partner agency network.

27th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive set for this Saturday

Leave food items by your mailbox Saturday, May 11, for letter carriers to pick up for the 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, which is the largest single day food drive in the nation having collected more than 1.5 billion pounds of food since 1992.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Living month-to-month

Previously homeless, Murphy has learned the importance of balancing her finances on a limited income. And even with being frugal with her budget, she still falls short at the end of some months.

Food assistance through the Great Plains Food Bank partner agency network has helped her stretch her income as far as she can.
