ICE OUT OF NYC
RALLY AND MARCH

NY, New York-- Today, Friday March 6th, A coalition of immigrant advocates will be coming together for a rally at Foley Square with the aim to raise awareness of the current attacks against immigrant communities occurring across the country. The coalition led by the New Sanctuary Coalition will be standing alongside elected officials, religious figures and advocates ready to defend and expand the rights of immigrants in New York City.
Together they will march across the Brooklyn Bridge to highlight the injustices committed by the Trump Administration. Recently, a federal court ruled that the federal government has the authority to withhold millions of dollars in law enforcement grants, strong-arming states to cooperate with ICE. The Coalition will be condemning and fighting back against ICE and the Trump administration amid an increase in City deportations.
