Letter from the President
Dear PPAChicago Members,
I hope this newsletter finds you well, now that we are done celebrating this special time of year and rested up for busy first quarter trade-shows. During 2014 PPAChicago found itself dealing with change in order to help better serve its members.
The year's end always entails wrapping up loose ends and focusing on the new year ahead. This November was no different. We welcomed two newly elected board members to the Association's headquarters, located in Oak Brook, Illinois, in order to participate in our new director orientation.
Matt Gallegos, from Halo Branded Solutions, and Bob Notter, from AlphaBroder, were elected to the board in October. It was a full day spent reviewing; board and volunteer roles and responsibilities, the PPAChicago governance structure, and the budget for 2015. After spending the day with us I am very confident that the Association is in very good hands moving forward.
We also have welcomed, over the past few months, a new Executive Director, Jen Mendoza. Jen brings with her a variety of strong skills and experience that will truly benefit the Association for years to come. Jen will be in Las Vegas for the PPAI Expo while attending a variety of Regional Association Council meetings while working on ways to better serve our members.
PPAChicago relies on your active participation to be the voice of this business community and a catalyst for area improvement. In the coming year, we have much to look forward to including a full calendar, the expansion of our services, and the development of new programs. Its main purpose serves so that we as a community may continue to proactively shape the promotional products industries future.
I am most honored and pleased to serve as your president! I accept this responsibility with the utmost excitement. I know the value of each and every member of PPAChicago and your capabilities. I am excited to work with you to build on the progress our wonderful organization has made thus far. CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - December 19, 2014 - The People Magazine Award winners didn't just win the chance to bring home a stunning statuette in the shape of an exclamation point during the December 18 televised awards, they also had the honor of nabbing one of the first ever People Magazine Awards.

Hub Pen Company Hires Robyn Squier as Customer Service Representative
