The Players' Philanthropy Fund (PPF) sent its first E-Newsletter this past Friday. We realized after it was sent, that there was an automated error in the Contact PPF section.  The error inserted your email as our contact for Business Development instead of Eleanor's PPF email.  It was hard to detect the error because in all drafts Eleanor's email was listed accurately in this spot so we thought it was correct.  Only you saw your own email in this section and your email was NOT sent out to all recipients of the email.   We appreciate those of you who alerted us to this issue.  This second edition accurately lists our staffs' email. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Thanks for your understanding as we continue to develop our communications about PPF.  And of course, we welcome your help with business development if you feel so inclined!

Founder Matt Stover gave his opinion on the NFL's recent change to the extra point.

"My full opinion as a kicker is anything that increases the value of a good kicker, I'm good with, as long as the competitive balance is there," Stover said Monday afternoon. "Getting rid of the play altogether would devalue the position,"(via
Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun).
