From the Director:
Change in the weather, change in the season and change in our fall conferences is upon us. Next week we will kick-off our two month start of virtual conferences that we typically host every fall in person. Kansas government finance leaders, city clerks, Kansas museum directors and others in public service will all continue to grow their skill set, network with colleagues and continue their commitment to their professions through a virtual experience this fall. We applaud their commitment to invest in their own growth that also benefits their organizations and ultimately their communities.
In my 25 years of public service, there has never been a time where increasing capacity, supporting colleagues and gaining knowledge has ever been more critical. We appreciate the leadership of the state associations who lead these efforts and are proud to support these public servants. Together we learn, encourage and move forward.
