Moundridge financial analysis
The Public Policy and Management Center recently completed a financial analysis for the City of Moundridge. Nancy McCarthy Snyder, former director of the Hugo Wall School, and Matt Stiles, program manager at the PPMC, provided a five-year financial analysis that evaluated the fiscal health of the organization. Moundridge was also benchmarked against similar-size communities with comparable utilities to help identify any influencing factors that might impact service delivery in the short- and long-term. Based on that analysis, a series of best practices were presented as options to improve fiscal transparency and maintain the excellent financial position of the city. Final findings were presented in December and the city intends to incorporate the findings into its management practices in future fiscal years.
