Help Honor the Legacies of Fallen Officers:
Volunteers Needed for 17th Annual Peace Officer Memorial Golf Tournament
| | |
The most critical mission of PPOA's Star & Shield Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of peace officers killed in the line of duty. Each year, the Peace Officer Memorial Golf Tournament serves as the primary vehicle for our Foundation to raise the funds needed to support families of our fallen brothers and sisters. The tournament brings together nearly 200 golfers and supporters and we would be honored to count you among the volunteers who help this event run smoothly.
If you can join us on Monday, June 2nd, at Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier, please send an email to info@ppoa.com, including your name and phone number.
Thank you for your support!
| | National Correctional Officers Week | | |
In honor of National Correctional Officers Week (May 4-10, 2025), PPOA extends its gratitude to our Custody Assistants throughout the County for their service and dedication.
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued Proclamation 5187, creating National Correctional Officers Week to acknowledge personnel who work in jails, prisons and custody facilities across the country.
Please join us in honoring the many contributions and accomplishments of our hard-working Custody Assistants throughout the County.
