As the new Chair, I am here to simply guide this amazing team. Our goal will be to make the Prairie Region an exciting place to belong. "It’s all about the members”, is my motto.
We are currently in the midst of planning the Regional Salon, as well as the Fall Convention. We are also looking ahead, to provide many other future educational and social events for us to enjoy.
Our Salon will be shared with B.C. this year, with judging taking place on Oct.1. Due to time constraints involving the merger, this was found to be the best solution to providing a fabulous Regional Competition. I wish to thank the B.C. contingent for allowing us to “hop on board” and make use of their Salon infrastructure.
Nothing will change in regards to our own Salon for the most part. We will have our own Class Awards, and our own Awards Ceremony. We are just using the Judges, the Portal, and the technical infrastructure that B.C. has put in place.
I will be posting more announcements on the current PPOC SK and PPOC MB Facebook pages, so check in daily. Details of the upcoming Fall Convention will also be posted soon. Eventually the social media pages will be combined into one Prairie Region page.
