North Coast Small Business Pandemic Update
News
The Paycheck Protection Program to reopen for applications through August 8.

As of the original closing date - Tuesday, June 30 -, the Paycheck Protection Program had approximately $135 billion left.

The U.S. House and Senate have both passed the Prioritized Paycheck Protection Program Act (P4), extending the window for business owners to apply for PPP loans to August 8, 2020. The President is expected to sign it.

In addition to the extension, P4 will decouple PPP from SBA's 7(a) lending program and allow some small business borrowers to apply for a second PPP loan.

Not all lenders will choose to participate. Please contact SBDC if you need help finding a lender accepting P4 applications.
CalCompetes Tax Credit Program Applications open July 27.

The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate, stay or grow in California.

The program exists to help create new full-time jobs.
