Your Tech Business Idea Could WIN Up To $10,000!

In the past eight years, more than 150 teams have graduated from Ben Franklin’s TechCelerator program; a rigorous ten-week curriculum that allows participants to explore their business concepts with the benefit of professional guidance – and have the chance to win up to $10,000!

If you are located in Bedford, Blair, Fulton, Cambria, Huntingdon, or Somerset County, you are eligible to apply for our upcoming 10-Week Business Startup Boot Camp. The once weekly sessions (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm) will begin on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 and run through September 17, 2020. One-hour mentoring/coaching sessions will also be provided each week.

Please Note: The program will be presented online using Canvas and Zoom. The deadline for applications is July 3, 2020.

This is a no-cost opportunity! Assistance with legal, accounting, or customer discovery costs will be provided, and you’ll have the chance to pitch to a panel of judges at the completion of the course. The winning team will receive up to $10,000 in seed funding to help get their startup UP and running.

Business mentoring from Ben Franklin’s Transformation Business Services Network and local economic and business development professionals will also be available. Graduates will come away from this experience with a working business model, networking contacts, and the confidence that comes from having developed a successful pitch.
