Networking Online

Event networking has already begun to take place online. Follow the conversation and contribute your own posts using the conference hashtag #PPS2017.

The PPS leadership, elected by members, is integral to the direction and effectiveness of PPS. Join the 2017 candidates during the General Business Meeting on Thursday, November 2, to hear their speeches. Voting will take place on Thursday and Friday at the PPS Booth in the Exhibit Hall or through the PPS Annual Conference App. Voting will close at 3:00 pm on Friday.

*NOTE: All onsite voting for the PPS Annual Election will be done either through the App or at the PPS Booth during Exhibit Hall hours; there will be no paper ballots this year. If you wish to vote in the 2017 election, you are strongly urged to download and use the PPS App.

The Annual Conference Program Work Group invites you to volunteer to be a session moderator at PPS. Moderators are provided a script and bios to introduce speakers during their session. They are also asked to complete a brief session evaluation after the session. Any PPS attendee can volunteer to be a moderator. 


Attendees wishing to receive continuing education credit will need to complete the required  CE Surveys for each session . If you have a laptop while at the Annual Conference and/or have downloaded the PPS App, you will be able to complete your online CE evaluations while on site. Once you've completed the evaluations for each attended session, you can print or save your CE certificate. You must complete the session evaluations by December 31 to receive continuing education credits. After the deadline, there will be a $25 late processing fee.

The educational sessions are not the only place for learning at PPS 2017. The exhibit hall will be filled with the latest products and services you need for a successful practice. You can search for exhibitors inside the App using the "Vendors" Icon. If you do not have the App, you can visit the PPS Virtual Exhibit Hall at any time by clicking "Visit The Exhibit Floor"  under the Exhibitors section of the conference site. Click on the virtual booth spaces to get details on each exhibitor.


PPS is offering two Pre-Conference workshops this year. Payment and Reimbursement Updates 2017 and Scalable Marketing Strategies for Success in Today's PT Practice will run concurrently on Wednesday from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm. If you have not already done so, you may add one of the programs to your registration by logging into the conference site and editing your registration. You can also contact Conference Registrar Trish Strong (trish.strong@kcimeetings.com) to modify your registration. A n additional fee applies and registration is required.
How To Fascinate: Keynote Sally Hogshead's Pre-Test

As part of the  2017 PPS Annual Conference , you are receiving the free opportunity to find out your advantages with Keynote Sally Hogshead's Fascination Advantage system. Sally will reference your results during her presentation so  you are strongly encouraged to complete the assessment before travelling to Chicago.

Most of our educational sessions provide a handout. You will receive a flash drive containing all handouts for the conference when you register. Handouts can also be downloaded via the mobile app or from the P PS website. There will not be paper copies available onsite.


The Attendee list is accessible via the app under the "Attendees" icon. It has also been posted to PPS Annual Conference website under the "Attendees" tab. 

Attire for the conference is business casual. Average temperatures in Chicago in November can reach the mid-50s during the day and low 40s at night.


On Friday, November 4th at 7:00 PM, guests will attend the  world-famous House of Blues and enjoy live entertainment provided by The Blooze Brothers and. PPS conference attendees will have exclusive access to the venue on Friday night where guests will be treated with a custom menu and world-class musical entertainment in an unforgettable setting. Wear comfortable shoes for this fun evening of food, drinks, and dancing! 

Full-Conference attendees and registered guests will receive a Friday Night Party wristband at conference registration. Wristbands will be required to enter House of Blues and to board the busses transporting guests to and from the party.
Attendee, Speaker, and Exhibitor registration will be located in the Lower Level across from the exhibit hall in Salon CD. The registration desk staff will assist you with badges, registration questions, and conference information. Registration opens Wednesday at 8:30 am.

Thursday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm 
Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 
Saturday: 7:30 am - 10:30 am
Conference badges are required for all PPS conference functions including social events, educational program sessions, and the exhibit hall. "Exhibit Hall Only" registration is access only to the exhibit hall.
All events are included in your registration fee. Guest tickets may be available for purchase on site subject to availability. If available, additional tickets for the Friday Night Party must be purchased by 12:00 pm Friday. Tickets may only be purchased by a registered attendee.
