PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Jason Thomas, a Piedmont Schools parent, addressed the board regarding his student’s past suspension. Thomas spoke against Dr. White, discussed his Native American heritage, and closed with a Cherokee song.
BOARD REPORTS
Principals from each school presented on their site results for the Energage survey and internal survey results. Principals discussed strengths, opportunities for growth, and action steps to create a positive difference at their respective sites.
EXECUTIVE SESSION/ACTION ITEMS
Piedmont Public Schools Board of Education convened into executive session. After returning to open session, the board unanimously approved the employment list in Attachment A of the agenda. No action was taken regarding the superintendent’s contract upon returning to open session. The board unanimously voted to give the superintendent the evaluation discussed in executive session. In addition, the board unanimously voted to give the document discussed in executive session.

The consent agenda was unanimously approved with no changes.
