The National Quality Forum (NQF) announced PQA as one of five winning entries for its 2017 Innovation Challenge, which was to submit innovative and agile approaches to incorporating one or more Principles for Making Health Care Measurement Patient-Centered in performance measurement. PQA and the National Health Council proposed a rubric to assess the patient-centeredness of measure development and implementation. PQA 2018 Measure Development Roadmap
PQA is pleased to launch its 2018 measure development efforts through the active engagement of Measure Development Teams, Task Forces, and Panels. New measure concepts for development were prioritized by PQA staff based on input from PQA's Measure Advisement Group, Patient & Caregiver Advisory Panel, and Implementation Advisory Panel. READ MORE

PQA Welcomes New Members
We are a multi-stakeholder, consensus-based membership organization that collaboratively promotes appropriate medication use and develops strategies for measuring and reporting performance information related to medications.
Membership in PQA is applied for on behalf of an organization rather than an individual. Member organizations are able to appoint their associates to represent their interests when these individual participate in PQA activities.
