Our Taino Ancestors danced Areyto (ceremonial dance) for days! We will still do!
Come learn Areyto -- Taino Language, Song & Dance -- as we prepare for Earth Day 2023.
Original songs by Tekina-eirú, she will teach Areytos used in ceremony, the meaning of the words, and how to dance!
Then join us on Earth Day as we honor Ataabey & our Ancestors!

Both events will take place under the Pecan Trees at the Puerto Rico Cultural Center, 701 Tillery Street in Austin.
Dr. Tekina-eirú Maynard is the Spiritual Leader of Yara Taíno & Guaytiao, the Indigenous community of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center.
