She was a Satanist. But, Jesus set her free from the powers that tormented her and kept her in bondage. She matured quickly in her new walk with the Lord. My wife, Rosene, spent much time discipling and caring for her.
One night, she was sitting in her living room when her dog began to growl. She heard a knock on the door and there stood a demon who dominated her life for many years. He muttered, "Stay away from Speas overseas. He's making us all mad" and thereupon vanished from her sight. This new believer called the pastor's wife and asked her what she should do. The pastor's wife said, "I think you need to pray for Bro Ralph." The caller asked, "Do you know where he is?" The pastor's wife said, "Well, he is actually overseas, like the demon said." "I wasn't aware he was gone!" she responded. So, this young believer prayed for me the remaining time I was gone...overseas!
When I returned, I saw the young lady at church and spoke to her. "I hear you were praying for me when I was on my last mission trip." She said, "Yes, but if I had told others about what happened the night that demon showed up, they would not have believed me." I assured her that I believed and thanked her for her prayers. She asked me what I thought about her encounter...did it frighten me? I responded, "Actually, it excites me. We must be doing some things right t0 make the devil that upset."
It was then that I felt most grateful for the many people who surrounded me and covered me with their prayers when I made trips, many in high risk places. Unknowingly, I have avoided many spiritual landmines because people were praying for me.

You may not hear of the answers to those prayers but,
nonetheless, they are working
as you pray in faith, believing
that God hears you, and honors your requests.
