Three simple Words-PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
Jesus said:
Luke 18:1 (KJV)
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
There again is one of my FAVORITE Words-FAINT!!
FAINT-from <G1537> (ek) and <G2556> (kakos); to be (bad or) weak, i.e. (by implication) to fail (in heart) :- faint, be weary. Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
My FAVORITE definition of the Word FAINT is:
“To lose courage or hope/TO GIVE UP!”
MEN/WOMEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY.....................................................
As I sit in my studio/man cave on this miserable and rainy Georgia day I have many thoughts to share with you.
I was up most of the night last night-SLEEPLESS-and as I have said many times, there is nothing else to do in the wee hours of the morning to do but PRAY and read the Bible.
I believe ole Colonel Sanders, he of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame, came to the conclusion in his latter years that he only knew how to do ONE thing well................
FRY CHICKEN!!!
Colonel Sanders became a rich and successful person by concentrating on the ONE thing he did well.
I saw a Church sign a few weeks ago that has stuck with me ever since:
“PRAY BIG OR GO HOME!!!!!”
Like the ole Colonel, I have come to my conclusion-
The ONLY thing I do well is PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not a polished musician or gifted singer nor do I possess great oratory skill.
I am NOT a learned Bible student or teacher although I spent my life learning and reading my Bible and also playing guitar and singing.
To the frustration of my son Joshua and perhaps others, I OFTEN resort to saying simply:
LET US PRAY!!!

I also get weary and frustrated with “the cares of this life”-TRUST ME!!!!
I cannot heal my own daughter Amanda AFTER 19 PLUS YEARS of fervent PRAYER.
I have fought death for over 50 years in the lives of many others and to this day have yet to win one battle!!
BUT Jesus said:

Jesus asked a very poignant question of His 12 disciples AFTER MANY had walked away:
John 6:67 (KJV)
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
To any and all naysayers our answer should second the Apostle Peter's reply:
John 6:68-69 (KJV)
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
TRULY there is only ONE WAY-JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
