PRAY Without Ceasing!!! 8/10/22

17 Pray without ceasing.
As We closed out our conversation yesterday, my son Joshua asked me,
“Dad, are YOU still PRAYING??? I don't hear you talking about PRAYER much lately?”
What a great question!! Let me ask YOU,
Are YOU still PRAYING?????????????????
I feebly tried to answer my son's pointed question with excuses-sadly and truthfully in my heart I knew I was not.
THE DEVIL AND THIS WORLD HATES P-R-A-Y-E-R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joshua went on to say that the devil constantly lies to US and tells us our PRAYERS are worthless and a waste of time. The devil constantly lies to US and attempts to remind US of “SEEMINGLY” times of UN-answered PRAYERS.
Of all of the disciplines and tenets of our faith PRAYER is the hardest to do!!
WE spend more time on FAKEBOOK seeking answers than we do on our knees!!!!!
The Bible clearly states:
James 4:2-3 (KJV)
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
I can almost hear YOU groan..............................
It hurts, don't it?????
I hate to admit it, but the devil does an incredible job of knocking us off our knees!!!
WE GET BUSY-TOO BUSY TO PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just as the servant in the Bible was entrusted with ONE TASK, WE become “BUSY her and there.........................”

40 And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, So shall thy judgment be; thyself hast decided it.
I KNOW it and you KNOW IT that WE ought to PRAY more and more as this world grows increasingly darker day by day.
We OUGHT to “PRAY one for another!”
James 5:16 (KJV)
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
One does not have to get on one's knees or go “looking” for God!! As Forrest God replied with told he needed to find God, Forrest replied:
“I didn't know God was lost!! Are we supposed to trying to find Him?????”
WE can PRAY anywhere/anytime/any how!!!!
Cut off the TV and get off of FAKEBOOK right now!!!
PRAY where you are as often as you can/however you can!

I cannot humanly explain the how or why of PRAYER!! It too often seems so futile and desperate and even hopeless!!!!
You know I am PREACHING the TRUTH to YOU today!
Yes, I know it hurts and you wish you had not read my words today-just like I wished my son had not confronted me last night with this TRUTH!!!
Beloved, this world is SWIFTLY going to HELL before our very eyes and YES, we are HELPLESS to stop it-ONLY GOD CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is MADDENING/MADDENING/MADDENING to read and watch the “news.”
BUT PRAYER CHANGES THINGS-THINGS that WE cannot fathom.
