Family Resource Coordinators
UPDATE: March 2025
Recently PREPARES Family Center made a change to our protocol with human service professionals, (care coordinators, case managers, home visitors, resource coordinators, peer support specialists, etc.) who place clothing/item/diaper requests on behalf of clients.
We are requiring parents to contact us with their request and if they are unable to pick up their requests, they can give the name of the person who will pick up on their behalf.
This means if you have a parent you are serving with a schedule or transportation barrier, please have them call or email us and have them give your name as the pick up person. If it's after hours or we are on the other line, parents are welcome to leave a voicemail as well. Email is great mode of communication since busy parents can send a quick email anytime, day or night, with their concrete goods request.
For clients with a language barrier, they are welcome to email us and we can use a translating app to communicate.
This must be done every time they want you to pick up diapers, clothing or a large item for them. The GREAT news, is that we no longer need completed client consent forms on file, since we will be hearing from parent directly about who will pick up for them.
We made this change because we were missing opportunities in engaging with parents served through a third party and our desire is to be more aligned in our mission statement of creating hope, strengthening families and transforming generations.
Thank you for your support and understanding!
