COUNCIL TRANSPORTATION CHAIR YDANIS RODRIGUEZ TO KEYNOTE SYMPOSIUM ON "THE FUTURE OF THE MEDALLION SYSTEM IN NYC"

New York, NY -- On Tuesday morning at the New York Institute of Technology, Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will deliver keynote remarks as part of a symposium on the "Future of the Taxi Medallion System in NYC." The symposium will address market trends over the past several years, the influx of new entrants into the car-for-hire market, regulations as well as other recent developments in the industry. 

Council Member Rodriguez will discuss his vision for the industry and his thoughts about how to ensure an even playing field and robust medallion industry for years to come.
