#RIDERSRESPOND TRANSIT TOUR DAY 2 SCHEDULE: QUEENS, BROOKLYN & STATEN ISLAND
Full Tour Details
New York, NY - The Riders Respond Transit Tour travels on through Queens, Brooklyn & Staten Island today, as elected officials continue their efforts to talk to riders in all five boroughs. Council Transportation Chair Ydanis Rodriguez & NYS Assembly Corporations Authorities & Commissions Committee Chair Jeffrey Dinowitz will meet up with other elected officials and transit advocates at stations listed below.
Rodriguez and Dinowitz will discuss the results of their 12 hour tour through Manhattan and the Bronx on Thursday, touching on feedback they received from riders along the way.
The group will travel with volunteers from station to station to document feedback about riders' commutes, assess the state of the system's infrastructure and gain a feel for each line in the city. The results of the tour will be shared prior to the NYC Council Transportation Committee Hearing on the NYC Subway System, scheduled for August 8th. The full route can be found below.
The tour will culminate with a rally at Union Square, the final stop on the tour, at 6:30pm.
