COUNCIL OVERSIGHT HEARING ON THE 2019 L TRAIN SHUTDOWN

Monday, December 11th at 12:00 PM on the steps of City Hall, Council Member
Ydanis Rodriguez, chair of the Council Committee on Transportation will announce an oversight hearing on the MTA's mitigation plans for the 2019 L train tunnel shutdown.
On agenda is a resolution sponsored by Council Member
Rafael Espinal calling for an expeditious transition to an electric bus fleet and to use electric buses as a robust part of its replacement service during the upcoming L train shutdown.
Chair Rodriguez will also announce that he and fellow elected officials will visit L train stations in Brooklyn and Manhattan in anticipation of the hearing.

El CONCEJO MUNICIPAL EXAMINA EL CIERRE DEL TUNEL DEL TREN L EN EL 2019

del concejo municipal, el concejal Ydanis Rodríguez, presidente del comite de transporte anunciara audiencia para examinar los planes para reemplazar el servicio del tren L en el 2019 cuando cesara temporalmente.
En agenda hay una resolucion introducida por el concejal Rafael Espinal llamando a una transición expedita a un flota de autobuses eléctricos y utilizar autobuses eléctricos como parte principal de su servicio de sustitución.
