September 17, 2020: Chincoteague Island, VA - The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce was happy to collaborate with the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge this year to host the 2020 Annual Pass Photo contest. Five finalists out of seventy-one entries from amateur photographers who met all contest requirements were selected by chamber staff. Leaders from various organizations in the community then chose their favorite from these five. The winner was Julian Boryszewski's Ruddy Turnstone captured while enjoying breakfast on Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge.

Julian is from York, PA and has a second home here on the Eastern Shore where he enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He has a passion for the outdoors and is an avid fisherman and hunter. Julian recently started dabbling in photography and enjoys taking wildlife photos both here and in PA. Julian and his family were relaxing on the beach when he caught this turnstone enjoying a snack.
