EDAWN Celebrates Northern Nevada’s 2024 Economic Growth at Inaugural Celebration of Business & Industry

(RENO, NV, December, 2024) – The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) hosted its inaugural Celebration of Business & Industry in Northern Nevada tonight, at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. More than 500 business and community leaders gathered to honor the companies driving economic growth and innovation in the region.

The event recognized 34 new and expanding companies that have chosen to grow in Northern Nevada, as well as 13 long-standing businesses within EDAWN's existing industries for their continued contributions to our region's economic vitality.

“The companies we celebrated tonight are the some of the largest driving forces behind our region’s economic success, creating jobs and opportunities that enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community," said Taylor Adams, EDAWN President and CEO. “Their success reflects Northern Nevada’s unique environment for business growth and innovation, which ultimately strengthens our region and benefits all who live here.”

The evening featured a formal program highlighting the achievements of the honorees, followed by a networking reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees included executives from recognized companies, local government officials, community leaders, and EDAWN investors.

By spotlighting both new and long-standing companies, EDAWN emphasized the importance of continued investment in the region’s future. The event underscored the collaborative efforts that have positioned Northern Nevada as a premier location for business success and industry leadership.
