Chincoteague Island: May 12, 2023: Planning the perfect getaway in Chincoteague just got easier! The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce is excited to unveil the Chincoteague 'Plan Your Visit' Widget which is an interactive way to map out everything you don’t want to miss in Chincoteague. Designed with our partners at Visit Widget, this tool provides a new way to explore what Chincoteague Island has to offer, including hotels, popular restaurants, activities, shopping, itinerary building, audio tours, and so much more.
Visit Widget "is an advanced, cross-device application that creates an engaging and intuitive way for visitors to research, plan, and experience their visit to your locale. Ideal for CVB (Convention and Visitor Bureau), DMO (Destination Marketing Organization), and tourism boards, this platform focuses on giving visitors an intuitive and engaging way to experience a destination."
The widget is available on chincoteaguechamber.com, the official tourism website for Chincoteague Island, Virginia, through new mobile apps for Android and Apple, and coming later this spring/summer on an interactive outdoor kiosk that will be conveniently located in the chamber yard in the turn circle on Maddox Boulevard.
All interfaces provide multiple touch-points for visitors to plan a memorable visit to Chincoteague Island and opportunities to learn more about our chamber members. The Visit Widget SaaS Platform integrates seamlessly with our existing website to sync membership and event updates for time savings and data accuracy.
