Join the Cheshire County Conservation District in Celebrating 77 Years of Conservation at Our Annual Celebration!

Walpole, NH (August 22, 2022) – This year, the Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) is excited to celebrate 77 years of conservation in NH!

Join us for an exciting evening of food, music, and reconnecting with community on Wednesday, September 28th from 5:30-8:00PM at the Keene County Club (755 W Hill Rd, Keene, NH 03431).

Programming for this year’s event includes conservation project updates from the CCCD and partners at the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), awards for exceptional conservation work in the County presented to Antioch University New England Community Garden Connections as the 2022 Cooperator of the Year and Jeff Littleton of Moosewood Ecological as the 2022 Educator of the Year.

In addition to honoring our awardees, enjoy live music from local musician Brian Castiglioni, and participate in an auction of locally donated items which directly support CCCD's conservation programs.

CCCD is still accepting donations for auction items! Donations are a great way to support local conservation, and provide exposure to your business or project!

To donate an auction item or for more information, contact [email protected] or 603-756-2988 x3011

All donations to our auction are greatly appreciated! Thank you for helping make this a fun and exciting event to further benefit conservation efforts in Cheshire County!

Standard admission for our annual celebration is $35.00 and registration is required.

The Cheshire County Conservation District promotes the conservation and responsible use of our natural and agricultural resources for the people of Cheshire County by providing technical, financial, and educational assistance. Our goal is to encourage the stewardship of healthy soils, productive ecologically sound farms, diverse wildlife, productive sustainable forests, healthy watersheds, and clean water to ensure those resources are available for future generations. Established in 1945, the Conservation District operates out of Walpole, NH where we work alongside the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and other conservation partners.
