Orlando, Fla. - May 11, 2021 - The Health Law Firm announced that two of its attorneys, George F. Indest III and Achal A. Aggarwal, recently won a favorable decision in a complaint hearing before a committee of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Secretariat. The complaint had alleged "irregular behavior" (the organization;s term for misconduct) case on behalf of its client, a medical student.
The applicant allegedly submitted false information on an application for the USMLE Step ! examination, the first in a series of exams that physicians must pass in order to become licensed ind the United States. Mr. Indest and Mr. Aggarwal successfully obtained a finding of "No Irregular Behavior: after a hearing and review by the USMLE's Committee for Individualized Review (CIR).
Mr. Aggarwal stated: "We are extremely pleased for the successful outcome in this doctor's case.
