Orlando, Fla. — September 2, 2025 — The Health Law Firm is proud to announce the promotion of Lance O. Leider and Amanda I. Forbes to Partner. Both attorneys have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the firm’s clients, consistently achieving outstanding results in complex healthcare law matters. Their promotion marks an exciting new chapter in the firm’s ongoing growth and commitment to serving healthcare providers nationwide.
Lance O. Leider has practiced healthcare law exclusively since graduating from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. He was the valedictorian of his class and served on the Editorial Board of the Barry Law Review as Lead Articles Editor. During law school, he served as a judicial intern to Judge Belvin Perry during the Casey Anthony trial. In 2016, he received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Health Law from Loyola University School of Law, Chicago. Mr. Leider focuses his practice on structuring complex business arrangements, litigation, health licensing and disciplinary issues, contracts, appeals, administrative hearings, regulatory matters, and Medicare and Medicaid defense. His notable victories include reducing a $1.4 million Medicaid overpayment demand by more than 98%.
Mr. Leider was also elected Vice President of the firm by the shareholders.
Amanda I. Forbes earned her B.A. from Southern Adventist University and her J.D. from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Ms. Forbes concentrates her practice on health law, representing resident physicians, and advising physicians in board certification disputes, licensing and disciplinary issues, administrative hearings and appeals, transactional and business matters, regulatory matters, and litigation. Her commitment to her profession goes beyond just representing her clients. She is also actively involved in guiding the development of healthcare law in Florida by serving on the Executive Council of the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar. Among her notable successes, Ms. Forbes successfully appealed the revocation of multiple physicians' certifications by the ABIM. Additionally, Ms. Forbes has been published in the Mitchell Hamlin Law Journal of Public Policy and Practice.
