RIVERSIDE, CA — TruEvolution celebrated the grand opening of the TruHealth & Wellness Clinic on Thursday, September 3rd, in Riverside, CA. The soft opening brought together community leaders, elected officials, funders, and supporters to celebrate nearly two decades of advocacy and a shared vision for accessible, compassionate care.
“It reflects our belief that health is not one-dimensional. When we care for people, we must care for the whole person,” shared Gabriel Maldonado, Founder & CEO, in his welcome address.

Patient Care and Telehealth Launching in 2027
The clinic expects to begin seeing patients in person in 2027, with telehealth services also planned to launch that year as part of a phased rollout. Virtual visits will help expand access for residents facing transportation or geographic barriers, including those in rural and underserved communities.
Planned services include primary care, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, HIV prevention and treatment, STI screening and treatment, individual therapy, and care coordination. Through connections to Project Legacy and TruEvolution’s established programs, patients can access support for housing, wellness, and the everyday challenges that affect their health.
Serving Riverside and San Bernardino counties, the TruHealth & Wellness Clinic is open to all with a focus on residents facing the greatest barriers to care, including LGBTQ+ people, people living with HIV, older adults, immigrants, and people experiencing homelessness.
