HONOLULU (September 3, 2020) - The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA-Hawaii) is pleased to announce the 2020 General Membership Meeting will be held virtually on September 18, 2020 at 12:30pm. Hawaii NEXT: Strength, Endurance and Hope will focus on resilience and positivity for the building industry during these trying times.
A panel discussion with Q&A will feature Congressman Ed Case, Avalon Development’s Christine Camp and Michael Kai, Senior Pastor of Inspire Church, each providing their message of resilience and strength to BIA members and guests.
BIA-Hawaii has a powerful 50+ year history and is an essential benchmark of Hawaii’s economic drivers. Builders, developers, contractors and those with a stake in the construction industry have a long tradition of uniting as BIA members to bring a unified voice to the industry.
“This General Membership Meeting will have a different feel,” said Jess Leorna, BIA-Hawaii CEO. “This is a new time for all of us, and we are learning our members need more from us as a resource. We want to provide enrichment, personal fulfillment and knowledge sharing opportunities to our members. In the first of several engaging GMMs, our Membership Committee calls on three well-known and inspiring panelists to join our BIA community and share how they remain encouraged for the future.”
The panel will explore challenges faced by many and explore how remaining positive while harnessing the tools needed to build a better tomorrow is most important at this time.
