Walpole, NH (September 3, 2021) – Monadnock region residents will get their hands dirty to make our rivers clean September 24th-26th, 2021, as part of the 25th annual Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup, a four state community event to cleanup the Connecticut River and its tributaries.

Cleanup crews will work on Friday, September 24th and Saturday, September 25th from 9:00am-1:00pm at multiple sites in Keene, on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00am-1:00pm in Swanzey, and on Sunday, September 26th from 2:00pm-6:00pm in Winchester.
Sites include on-foot and boating locations in the three towns. Volunteers should only be using small boats such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, due to limited space. Volunteers do not require a boat but are encouraged to bring a boat and life jackets if available. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers, and a limited amount of t-shirts for volunteers will be available!
