" W.A.G.E. certification is a wonderful way for the Weavers Guild of Minnesota to join others in the arts non profit community in their dedication to pay artists for their work while building national and international awareness of the Weavers Guild of Minnesota's 77 year old commitment of preserving and advancing the arts of weaving, spinning and dyeing. We are pleased to be in such great company and appreciate the recognition."

About The Weavers Guild of Minnesota
The Weavers Guild of Minnesota ("WGM") – Preserving and advancing the arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing. Since its founding in 1940 by six women, including Hilma Berglund, the Weavers Guild of Minnesota (“WGM”) has established itself as a nationally-recognized resource for the arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing. WGM offers over 150 classes and events annually, serving nearly 700 new and experienced fiber artists each year. It was the catalyst in the formation of the Textile Center, where WGM currently maintains classroom, retail, and library space.
