Winter Prep Checklist

Have you checked off the following items to prepare you and your house for winter? 

• Have you gotten your heating system professionally serviced? The tune-up will keep your heating system running efficiently and reduce the risk of its breaking during the cold season.
• Have you cleaned your gutters? Clogs can allow rainfall to spill off the roof, potentially damaging foundation walls. They can also cause ice dams, leading to a leaky roof.
• Have you insulated exposed pipes and shut off the water to any outside faucets or spigots? These are good tasks to do before the first freeze. A burst pipe can result in thousands of dollars’ worth of damage.

The Galas are popular events. Be sure to RSVP immediately by dropping off your reservation form at any Community Office or mailing it to the address on the invitation.

We emphasize RSVP'ing quickly because capacity may be reached prior to the deadline date due to the popularity of the galas.
