"...there was much to be gleaned from just listening and watching. I still marvel at the privilege and honour it was to be a part of this festival!"

Tian Hui Ng, 2013 Conducting Student

In This Issue:
Both our team and the Powell River weather seem to be getting very excited for our summer festival this year! In addition to the sunshine, Powell River has another exciting February guest: the Festival of the Performing Arts -- read on for more about another of Powell River's own performing arts festivals.

There's just a few more days left for students to receive the early bird application fee. Interested students can find more information and apply on our website.

Thanks to those of you who shared your repertoire suggestions for this year's Celebration of the Senses. Check below to read some of the responses and answer this edition's survey question!
71st Powell River Festival of Performing Arts 2015

The 2015 Festival of the Performing Arts in Powell River will be held from February 21 to March 7. New to this year, the festival will include master classes in all disciplines. See a full schedule and program by checking out their website.

It gets more exciting, too -- this year's provincials will be held in our very own Powell River! The Performing Arts BC Provincial Festival will be held here from May 26 to 30.

What a year for the performing arts in Powell River!
