PRISMA 2024 Ticket Sales
This summer, PRISMA will bring a classical music feast to Powell River, BC, from June 17-29. Wouldn’t you want to hear the concert titled Dances from Distant Lands, Viennese Elegance and Bohemian Spirit, and Ice, Silk and Turkish Delight? Visit our festival webpage to see the entire concert repertoire for 2024.
Ticket sales are now open to the general public. Purchase your tickets in person at our new office located in Townsite Market. Box office hours are Mondays from 10-2, Tuesdays from 10-2, and Thursdays from 12-4. You can find the new PRISMA office on the lower floor. You can also purchase tickets online.

Membership
There's nothing quite like a live orchestra when it comes to bringing people together, breaking down societal barriers and rejuvenating the human spirit. Since 2012, PRISMA has been Powell River's connection to some of the world's most revered concert stages. Our international guest artists offer their talents at an exciting array of concerts while mentoring the next generation of musical artists on our local stage. Membership puts you at the centre of the PRISMA experience. This is your chance to go behind the scenes in the artistic process, meet like-minded people in your community, and watch over 80 talented students in an orchestra.
Ticket sales cover just 10% of the cost of PRISMA’s annual performances, education programs and outreach events. Philanthropic support plays an essential role in making our festival and academy possible. PRISMA’s annual membership fee is $50. All levels of support include an annual membership. Tax receipts will be issued for the support level less the value of the benefits as per the Canada Revenue Agency receipting requirements. Donors can waive the benefits and receive a receipt for the full donation. All members have voting privileges at PRISMA’s Annual General Meeting and will receive advance notice of special events.
Festival Passes (available at the Patron level and higher) include admission to all masterclasses, daily recitals and public performances at PRISMA.

He's not only a distinguished musician but also a dedicated educator, serving as faculty at the Vancouver Academy of Music and the VSO School of Music.

Janet Arms - Flute & Piccolo

Pauline Oostenrijk - Oboe
The groundbreaking Dutch oboist, made history in 1999 as the first oboist to win the prestigious Netherlands Music Prize. With a stellar career spanning international stages, including a Carnegie Hall debut in 1992, she has dazzled audiences as both a soloist and chamber musician. As principal oboist of the Residentie Orchestra The Hague for 25 years and a dedicated educator at the Conservatory of Groningen, Oostenrijk's influence resonates deeply in both performance and pedagogy. Composers like Louis Andriessen and Jeff Hamburg have crafted compositions in her honour, reflecting her profound impact on the classical music landscape.
