Let's All Work Together on Great Sportsmanship
Playing USTA League is very competitive, however, it is also fun, social, and should be friendly! Lately the PNW office (and most other Sections) have seen a decline in sportsmanship when it comes to Adult Competition. Over the next few months you will be seeing some initiatives helping to promote good sportsmanship. Our goal is to assist you in fostering good sportsmanship for all leagues. We pay attention and don't worry, we have something up our sleeve for those facilities known for the best sportsmanship!

Tennis Teachers Conference Postponed in 2016

The Tennis Teachers Conference (TTC) is planned to be conducted every two years.  The USTA and U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) ran a joint conference in New York City in 2014, so this would normally be the year to host one again.  However, since all of Community Tennis and Player Development will be relocating to Florida in July and August, it was determined that there was not an ideal time to host a major workshop for 2016.  Projecting forward, the USTA has not yet determined the date or location for the next TTC, but 2017 would be the soonest it would be scheduled.
