Action Alliance Foundation (AAF) provides safe recovery residences for homeless alcoholics and addicts, including those struggling with mental health issues. We teach our residents how to create sober lives leading to futures full of hope and promise.

Meet Our Founder, George Folk

Each of us has an opportunity to leave a legacy – an opportunity to live for a purpose that’s bigger than ourselves. George Folk, Founder of both Action Alliance Foundation and its for-profit partner, Action Alliance Services, has done just that.

AAF Achieves Candid's Platinum Seal of Transparency

AAF is excited to share that we have earned the Candid Platinum Transparency Seal for 2024. The platinum seal is the highest level of recognition offered by Candid and is awarded to organizations that meet the highest standards of transparency and accountability.

To earn the Candid Platinum Seal, non-profit organizations must meet a rigorous set of criteria, including:

  • Providing complete and accurate information about their mission, programs, finances, and governance on Candid
  • Sharing their strategic priorities and information about their impacts
  • Being open to feedback and engagement from the public

In 2023 fewer than one percent of U.S.-based non-profits received recognition with the platinum seal.

Meet Our Residents

Every night, approximately 300 Orange County residents receive housing and support for maintaining their sobriety at a house managed by Action Alliance Foundation or its for-profit partner, Action Alliance Services. Each of our residents has a unique story - a story of how they are overcoming a challenging past in preparation for a promising future.

Residents like Ambre, Mark, Heather and Leroy have each overcome huge obstacles in their lives. Since learning how to live an alcohol and drug-free life, they are each on the road to a promising future.

You can read about each of them - and others - by clicking here.
