BETHESDA, MD – (June 25, 2026) – The Professional Road Running Organization (PRRO) has launched the PRRO-lific Finisher Program to recognize runners who complete all six of the PRRO Circuit events with a special PRRO-lific Finisher Medal. The six iconic non-marathon races – the Gate River Run 15K, the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile, the Lilac Bloomsday Run 12K, the Steamboat Classic 4 Mile, the Boilermaker 15K and the Quad-City Times Bix 7 Mile – are true “Bucket List” road races that thousands of runners aspire to complete over the course of their careers. Now they will receive recognition with a one-of-a-kind PRRO-lific Finisher Medal for doing so.
“For 31 years the PRRO Circuit has focused on featuring world class elite competition. With the PRRO-lific Finisher Program, the Circuit is now extending its reach to running enthusiasts of all abilities by recognizing their accomplishment of completing all six of America’s Classic Road Races and being rewarded with a PRRO-lific Finisher Medal to proudly display,” said PRRO President Don Kardong.
The PRRO Circuit events have combined their past race results into the PRRO-lific Finisher database (see summary listings further below) so past performances at any PRRO Circuit events count towards attaining PRRO-lific Finisher status. Runners are encouraged to check the database to see how many PRRO Circuit races they have already completed.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Runners are invited to complete each of the six PRRO Circuit races over the course of their road racing careers. Entry details for each event appear on the new, relaunched PRRO website.

Runners can track how many races that they have completed by checking the PRRO-lific Finisher database here.
- Runners who complete all six PRRO races will receive a limited-edition PRRO-lific Finisher Medal.
- Runners who have completed four or more of the PRRO races will receive guaranteed entry into any other PRRO race needed to earn their PRRO-lific Finisher Medal, provided their entry request is made at least six weeks before the date of the requested race; this includes events which may have lotteries or entry ceilings.
