What's happening this week: 


Fall Voyagers is back! Registration for Voyagers, the after-school enrichment program starts today, Sunday, September 25th at 5 pm, with classes beginning the week of October 3. Sign-up will be on a first-come, first-served basis so please mark your calendar. Class descriptions, pricing, and timing can be found here. If you need financial assistance for Voyagers, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our school adjustment counselor, AC Decker.

“Magical Things are Happening at PRS”

Annual Fundraising Campaign Kicks Off Tomorrow!

Each student will receive a flyer in their backpack on Monday, September 26, with all the information about this PTO fundraiser. Please consider making a gift that directly benefits your child/children. The Annual Campaign ends on October 7 where the grade with the highest level of participation (not dollar amount) will win a special magic show at PRS! Please join the Green Team on Wednesday, October 5th - the first early release day - for a PRS playground cleanup!


We'll meet right at 11:30 am by the basketball shed. Dismiss your student(s) as walkers, bring a garbage bag and some work/gardening gloves, and let's get the playgrounds cleaned up!

HMPA PRS Rep Needed - The Hingham Music Parents Association (HMPA) is looking for an enthusiastic PRS parent or guardian who can bring the PRS perspective to the table as well as make broader recommendations specific to building out HMPA at the elementary level. HMPA meetings are 5 times/year. Email PRSPTOemail@gmail.com if you're interested.


The PRS PTO Fall Mixer will be at the Red Rose down the street from PRS at 7pm (or after curriculum night) on September 28th. The event is free with a cash bar, but we would greatly appreciate you RSVP'ing to get a headcount. 


Save the Date - SEPAC Kick-Off Meeting!

Thursday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m.

Hingham Middle School Auditorium

Join the SEPAC community for our first meeting of the school year. This is an opportunity to meet with other parents in the special education community and share questions, concerns or issues. The SEPAC Board will talk through a few preliminary initiatives for the year and solicit input from parents. Dr. Suzanne Vinnes, Executive Director of Student Services, will provide an overview of key special education programming at the elementary, middle and high school levels. We hope to see you there!
