Dear members and event attendees,
The health and well-being of our members and community professionals is of utmost importance.
As a proactive response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America feels it appropriate to
postpone the upcoming Crystal Awards Event on Friday, March 20,
at the Little Rock Club. This response comes in light of the safety recommendations to limit public gatherings shared yesterday by Little Rock city officials.
By postponing events, we do our part as industry leaders to limit in-person interaction until it is deemed safe again by health and safety experts. We will share more information soon on a new date for the Crystal Award ceremony honoring Denver Peacock, APR.
In the meanwhile, your local PRSA Chapter is committed to providing actionable professional development opportunities and valuable resources to you. Are you counseling and advising leadership regarding this ongoing crisis? Are you refining crisis plans or crafting them for the first time? Thank you for your support of the Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and we hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
Jason Brown, APR
