June 22, 2023
The City of Edmonton reminds all Edmonton property owners that the due date for property taxes is June 30. A five per cent penalty on any outstanding 2023 amounts will be charged to accounts on July 1, with further penalties later in the year. Property tax bills cannot be appealed.
Payment options:
- Property tax bills can be paid at most financial institutions, by telephone or online banking and by mail.
- Due to high payment volumes, please do not wait until June 30 to make your payment or contact the City if you have questions.
Property owners can review their balance at
myproperty.edmonton.ca. Users can access account balances, view their notice online and confirm payment has been received. Edmontonians can use the unique access code found on their latest tax notice to sign up for their MyProperty account. Electronic notices are also available.
Property owners who have purchased a property in the last four months are asked to call 311 to obtain up-to-date information on their tax accounts, as the City may not have a record of their title transfer due to processing delays at Alberta Land Titles. Taxes are still due in full by June 30.
